Bulbs and birdsong
I love watching the greening of the woods in early spring. The moss green, once the only bright colour, is joined by twirling honeysuckle, jagged elder leaves and the magic carpet of bluebell shoots.
There's a woodpecker near my house that has been drumming since January, and day by day, more birds try out their spring song. I've heard Wren, Robin, Dunnock, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Blue Tit singing their long songs. Join me on a birdsong walk to tell them apart!
Find the wild, find the magic. See you in the woods and fields.
