We've attended Bluebell club for the past few years and adore it! This is down to Sarah's thoughtful planning and attention to detail for each session. Watching the joy on my children's faces while they go on one of Sarah's adventures is something I'll always treasure.

The wreath making in the woods last December was fabulous. Sarah has a lovely relaxed confidence which made us able to create beautiful wreaths and have a super afternoon appreciating nature. So many extra thoughts go into these events (like books and rugs and natural decorations, not to mention the gorgeous homemade mince pies and hot chocolate!) to make them memorable. I’m already booked onto 2 more events!

We loved Friday forest school. We have been to a couple of events since over the school holidays, which even tho the girls are a bit older they still loved . I think there are very few people as passionate, knowledgeable and inspiring about nature as you Sarah

I have been attending outdoor events with Sarah since my son was 3. He is now 9 and as a family we still love our adventures in what is known in our house as ‘Sarah’s Woods’. Sarah is amazing at engaging everyone in her groups whilst imparting a huge range of knowledge and skills. My son knows more about seasons, trees, flowers, wildlife and fire making skills than I do and that is definitely due to his sessions with Sarah. He also developed hugely in confidence during his sessions and his knowledge has definitely continued to further learning at home for us all.

We love her summer and winter events, where you just feel at one with nature whether it is making wreaths or practising Mindfulness plus you can relax around a cosy campfire. You always feel such an enormous boost to your well-being when you've been to one of Sarah's events.

I have been very fortunate to work with Sarah as a local primary school teacher. I have also attended her sessions with my own children over the last five years. There are so many words I could use to describe her and all would be positive! She is so creative, flexible and extremely accommodating. When working with large groups, she is very good at meeting the needs of individuals and she manages to fully engage all children who work with her. She has such a calm and gentle manner.

Sarah is amazing, we used to go to another forest club when my daughter was younger but they didn’t really connect with my shy child. We have now been to many events with Sarah such as Dens and Dinosaurs, a fairy adventure and many other general forest sessions she runs. Every time we go along my daughter and myself learn something new and it brings so much joy to my daughter and I. Sarah is so knowledgeable, attentive and excellent with both adults and children alike. Her experiences in the woods are second to none, the set up is magical and I really feel all children should experience this.

I was introduced to Sarah’s forest school when my eldest daughter was 2. She adored the time spent exploring outdoors, the opportunity to play with other children in the safety of their own personal woodland, the mixture of stories, crafts and adventure. Sarah’s knowledge of the natural world is amazing and I always looked forward to learning something new each time too! We attended classes together for over 2 years and I am beyond excited to be rejoining Sarah’s group with my youngest daughter next month. After such a strange year, I can’t wait for my daughter to have an opportunity to explore some more of the world around her and learn about her place in it all. I know that she will reap the same benefits of Sarah’s magical gift for creating a sense of wonder even when we are in such safe hands. It is simply my favourite group I have ever been a part of with either of my girls.

Sarah is one of the best nature guides in Sussex. Her incredible amount of knowledge is both inspiring and refreshing. Her session are very well planned and run very smoothly. We had so much fun exploring the woods with Sarah from when my son turned 2 onwards, she provided so many activities that brought out his imagination and creativity in a beautiful setting. My son is 7 now and we still love to get to a woods group when we can. When we go to a woods he’s building dens, bow and arrows and playing games using skills he learnt. My almost 2 year old is on a waiting list ready to join the pre school group and we can’t wait!

Sarah's adventures are new to me but her ability to make my disabled daughter feel included and provide new experiences is amazing and nature is needed for all mental health, especially as we continue to lose these green spaces.

My son had delayed speech and I've found being out in nature with no pressure to speak has brought him on leaps and bounds.
He now loves talking in the car on way home about things we learnt today, and telling everyone when we go on walks do not touch the mushrooms.
Sarah is so engaging with the children and makes each lesson so much fun, it's our favourite day of week when we come.

The storytelling activities you do are brilliant. Bringing the story of stickman to life, the dinosaur footprint trail, the knights and dragons, fairies and rabbits, they way the children can all act a bit out and experience the sights and smells of the woods. They all develop wonderful imaginations and you are so patient with all they input and anecdotes. You do the little things well, picking a specific child for a question knowing it’s their favourite subject, walking in a little loop so the next child gets a turn at being at the front naturally, teaching the children to listen to and care for the woodland.

Sarah is fabulous. My son and I have been attending various woodland activities which Sarah has organised over the last few years and we have thoroughly enjoyed them all. We always have a brilliant time and my son always comes away having learnt so many new things and experienced so many different activities. We will always treasure the memories which we have made on these adventures.

​Sarah is brilliant and a fantastic guide/teacher. We have attended forest school (4 years on and my daughter still wants to go back!) but also workshops she has run in the woods. One daughter has also spent a day with Sarah on a school trip, a wonderful experience. Sarah is passionate about the outdoors and is such an inspiration to open yours eyes to the nature around you. We have many happy memories of these times and it is often these experiences we talk about as a family. We look forward to attending more very soon

The sessions you provide are truly wonderful...
A father attended last week for the first time and as we were all walking back to the car he said how much he enjoyed it. I replied how after your sessions I feel like I’ve had the best type of therapy there is. I noticed he returned this week.
As for the benefits of the children... well they’re truly endless. My daughter loves them and gains so much .
There is nothing like your sessions locally and we are rooting for any future developments for you may possibly have and what you can provide.

Friday woods group with Sarah are some of my most fondest memories of time me and my children have spent together during their pre school days  it was our favourite time of the week come rain or shine , my daughter is on a waiting list and I can't wait to do it all again.

Sarah is very passionate about her work and the way in which she ignites an interest in nature in every child she meets. She has a very calm way about her that the children really love.     We've been so lucky to have been able to attend so many of Sarah's amazing forest school sessions from Bluebell club, to weekend activities and now on to Nature Adventures at Jack's after school club. Sarah has taught Jack and me so much about nature and how to love every part about it.
Sarah organised a fantastic bug hunt party for his 3rd birthday which was great fun and we both hold the memories of all the different activities that we've attended with Sarah very close to our hearts. - Emma
