Winter warmth
Having celebrated the best of autumn treats, thoughts turn to creating sparkle and happiness to light the dark.
The Winter Fairytale event celebrates the next turn in the year, searching out the fires of midwinter and bringing light to a winter afternoon. With sparkly drinks, stars and snowflakes, I'm already looking forward to adding the little details which bring joy.
At this time of year, I remember my primary school teacher, aptly named "Mrs Hope", leading us on a nature walk and showing us next years' leaf buds ready to go, tucked onto twigs. It's a great time of year to teach yourself tree identification from the twigs, as you'll often find this year's leaves to help you!
Come gather some woodland memories to light the darkness. See you in the woods. Sarah
